If you have forgotten your railcard you may be asked to purchase another ticket. The conditions of travel state that the railcard must be carried by the customer in order for the ticket to be valid.
We know how it easy it can be to forget or misplace your railcard, so we offer customers who have been asked to purchase a new ticket or to pay an excess on an existing ticket a refund if the additional ticket is sold by us or the excess fare is charged by us.
Please note if you pay an excess fare or purchase another ticket from another retailer or train operator then we will not be able to refund the additional ticket purchased or excess fare charged.
In order to obtain a refund you must provide -
- an image of the original ticket purchased
- an image of a valid Railcard
- an image of the new ticket purchased or the excess fare receipt
