If you have lost an item of property on board one of our trains or at one of our stations we will do our best to find the item for you. If one of our conductors finds a item of lost property they hand this in at the trains terminating station where its stored at the ticket office in lost property locker.
We do not keep any perishables and items of lost property are retained for up to three months.
Our trains are cleaned every evening when taken out of service and throughout the day whilst in service if a member of our cleaning team locate an item of lost property this will be handed in to station staff or the depot where the train is stabled

Our customer experience centre will contact our stations and depots on your behalf and also create a lost property case in our system. If we locate your item we will let you know.
To report an item of lost property please call 0800 200 60 60 between 7am and 10pm 7 days a week when our trains are running.
Once a item has been handed in at one of our stations it will not be transported to any other location via train. You will need to collect the item from the station. Alternatively if that’s not practical you can arrange courier.
